In May 2018, EU CAN AID AISBL granted generous funding of 6700 Euros to GDI for the realization of Traitement Café, a project to assist coffee growers in the Mazigiro sub-group, Walungu Territory in the Republic Democratic Congo.
With the mass unemployment affecting young people in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the difficulties that more than 60% of parents have to properly educate their children, GDI introduces young people to entrepreneurship, permaculture and the use of mobile phones, tablets and web applications to access the information they need.
